04th July 2008 - Josef Tonna was yesterday named as the MFA Second Division Player of the Year 2007/08. This was confirmed yesterday as all teams voted for the Player of the Year. Tonna was having a good competition for the first place from San Gwann's midfielder Roberto Brincat who then finished second. Meanwhile Rabat's striker Adam Smeir ended second in the top scorers list with 12 goals.
